At Worth Media Group’s Living Well 2026, an invitation-only gathering of leaders in health, science, and innovation held in New York City on June 17, 2026, Dr. Jordan Barber gave a talk titled “Thinking in Chinese Medicine: Ancient Practice Meets Modern Pain Science.”
The session made the case that some of the most effective tools in performance medicine are also some of the oldest. Dr. Barber walked through advanced dry needling and neuromodulation-based acupuncture, and what modern pain science actually says about a practice that has been refined for thousands of years.
