We have designed this Site to hold information about Dr. Jordan Barber’s work as an author, clinical researcher, and doctor of acupuncture and oriental medicine. It is an informational and professional-contact Site. We do not run advertising networks on it, we do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build cross-site advertising profiles.

We collect information you choose to give us directly, primarily when you complete a form on the Site. If you subscribe to updates, we collect the email address (and any name) you submit for that purpose.

We also use Google Search Console together with Rank Math to understand aggregate, non-identifying search performance for the Site.
We may also disclose information where we believe in good faith that disclosure is required to comply with a law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request; to protect the rights, property, or safety of Barber Acupuncture PLLC, our visitors, or others; or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the recipient to honor this policy.
The Site may link to external sites and services we do not control, such as book retailers, publishers, or media outlets that have featured Dr. Barber’s work. We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Messages and inquiries are retained for as long as necessary to respond to and document the request and to keep reasonable business records, after which they are deleted or anonymized. Subscription information is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Automatically collected technical logs are typically retained for a short period for security and diagnostic purposes.
