Quality Acupuncture

Overview

Quality Acupuncture was founded in 2008 by Dr. Jordan Barber and served as his first professional acupuncture corporation. The clinic began as a private practice located in Smithtown, NY, where it offered patient-centered care with a focus on traditional East Asian medicine and orthopedic acupuncture.

As Dr. Barber’s clinical network expanded, Quality Acupuncture was later relocated to Riverhead, NY, where it became part of a larger multi-clinic ecosystem providing integrative care across Long Island.

Founder and Chief Executive Officer: Dr. Jordan Barber

Dr. Jordan Barber served as CEO of Quality Acupuncture from 2008 until its closure in 2024. As founder and lead clinician, he established the clinic’s service model, developed its treatment protocols, and oversaw its integration into broader clinic operations during its time in Riverhead.

Quality Acupuncture represented Dr. Barber’s entry into independent clinical practice and served as the foundation for his later ventures in integrative medicine, healthcare consulting, and multi-site clinic management.

Transition and Closure

Quality Acupuncture ceased operations in 2024 following shifts in the healthcare landscape, including insurance reimbursement changes and evolving demographic needs in the Riverhead area. These factors informed Dr. Barber’s decision to close the clinic and transition his focus toward other entities within his growing practice network.

Although no longer active, Quality Acupuncture played a pivotal role in Dr. Barber’s professional development and laid the groundwork for the clinical systems, patient care models, and business structures he would go on to expand across multiple locations and ventures.
